Amy Briggs CPC, MCPC, ILC
I love nothing more than sitting with another human being, learning about who they are, and exploring where they want to go. I have experienced a lot of change: divorce in my late 30s, dating in my 40s, remarriage in my 50s, career changes, multiple cross-country moves, deaths of loved ones, and losses of friendships. My teacher Melissa Tiers calls these kinds of life experiences ‘graduate school’. I don’t disagree.
In my mid-40s, my personal quest to find more congruence - a life in which who I am on the outside matches who I am on the inside - led me to step away from a successful 25+ year musical career to become an integrative coach. In integrative coaching, we work with all of you…both your conscious and unconscious mind. It’s your unexamined unconscious thoughts, beliefs, memories and conditioning that can leave you feeling stuck, frustrated, or unsatisfied with where you are now. As we shine a light on what’s underneath the surface, we begin to make the unconscious conscious. I love helping my client do the deeper work that leads to breakthroughs so much that I am enrolled in graduate school for clinical counseling with the intention of becoming a licensed therapist.

Working with women - including those in midlife, menopause or perimenopause; coaching for partners or spouses of loved ones in recovery from addiction; relationship coaching; coaching for gray area drinking; coaching for anyone making or considering a life change; coaching for anyone needing support in these uniquely stressful times.
My coaching blends Somatic Experiencing®, neural reprogramming and hypnosis. I am Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed.
