Next Steps in Recovery: A Healing Group for You

One of the most common questions I hear from clients finishing treatment is, “Brian, what can I do for accountability now that I’m leaving treatment?” or “Where can I find ongoing support?” Well… look no further! If you have completed treatment for substance use, whether recently or in the past, and need ongoing support, then this group is for you. If you are in individual therapy and yearn for interaction with others experiencing similar challenges, then this group is for you. Or maybe you’ve been in recovery for a while, but something’s missing. This group is for you. This group is for you if you have some experience in recovery, and you’re looking to broaden, deepen, or jumpstart your recovery.

Brian... combines science, psychology and compassion to open a safe forum of sharing between individuals.
— M.S.

One of the most powerful aspects of being in a group is collective transformation. When one or a few start to get it, the rest quickly join - it’s contagious! You will be a part of that. In this circle of like-minded friends, you’ll experience acceptance, belonging, laughter, and tears - maybe some things you haven’t seen in a long time. The more you share of yourself, the more you’ll be embraced and feel the strength that comes in community. Through developing trust in the company of companions that get you, you’ll begin to see the possibility of once again trusting yourself. It’s true: others see in us what’s difficult to see in ourselves. As others reflect what they see in you, you’ll catch a glimpse of your own inner value and worth. And that’s what it’s all about. That’s where real recovery happens.

(Brian has) a beautiful gift for creating a space filled with trust, kindness, acceptance, and hope.
— J.H.

Change can happen when you commit to it and are willing to work at it. But deep, lasting, fundamental transformation happens in relationship to others…in connection…in community.

Be seen.

Experience belonging. Rediscover passion. Reconnect to wonder. Let the colors of your world come back to life.

I’ve worked with Brian for the last two years and can say that he is truly one of the most skilled group facilitators that I have worked with in my career. He is kind, compassionate, and a true advocate for those recovering from a wide range of mental health and substance use issues looking to make changes in their lives. I consider it an honor to be connected to Brian personally and professionally, and cannot recommend his services highly enough.
